Most alligator straps are cut from the belly scales — uniform, symmetrical, and widely available. This one is different. The horizontal texture section runs across the body of the hide where the scale pattern shifts direction, creating a subtle ripple effect that catches light unlike any standard cut. Each full alligator skin yields only 2 to 3 straps from this specific area, which is why you rarely see it done well.

• Underside: Zermatt calf leather for a soft, comfortable fit
